Tito Pelayo
When my father died, I returned to my home village for his funeral. A man from Pastor Barnesto's church visited me and gave me the Gospel. Since I was saved, I attend church services and go soulwinning to tell others about Christ. I am Tito Pelayo, 40 years old, and I am from Libertad, Antique. When I was fourteen, I became a member of the New People's Army, a paramilitary group fighting for communist revolution in the Philippines. In 1985, my friend escaped the harsh operations of military government, so I left the area with him. We went to Mendoro, and while I was there, I became a shepherd of cattle for one of the popular syndicates named Campano. Later, that syndicate fell, and I became a farmer and stayed there for fifteen years until I became very sick. I heard that my dad had died, so I decided to return to my home town for his funeral and to recuperate. While I was home, a man came to my cousin’s house; he was giving out Gospel tracts. He shared the plan of salvation with me, and I received the Lord as my Saviour. Now I am serving the Lord. I attend church services every Sunday and Wednesday, as well as visitation on Saturdays. Also, I am still sick. Please pray that God will help me through the medications and especially spiritual healing. The Process How your donations are reaching the lost.
